Saab troubles delay Spyker sale
The financial problems facing Swedish car group Saab have delayed the sale of the Spyker luxury car brand to a Russian investor, the Telegraaf quoted the car makers’ parent company Swedish Automobile as saying on Thursday.
The parent company agreed to sell Spyker to Vladimir Antonov in February for €15m.
That decision led to Spyker, which bought Saab in 2010, changing its name to Swedish Automobile.
On Wednesday, Swedish Automobile said it would make a substantial loss for the year and withdrew prior sales and financial targets for 2011.
