One third of PVV voters think Wilders is a minister

One third of people who voted for the anti-Islam PVV at the last general election think party leader Geert Wilders is a minister in the current cabinet, according to a new poll by Synovate.

One in eight of the population at large believes the PVV leader is a minister. The PVV won 15% support at the last general election.
Wilders is not in the cabinet, but his party has agreed to support the minority coalition between the Christian Democrats and conservative Liberal VVD in return for tougher immigration controls.
The Synovate poll also shows finance minister Jan Kees de Jager is the most respected minister, scoring 6.3 out of 10. However, this is 0.9 points down on his position when the cabinet took office last year.
Prime minister Mark Rutte scores 6.1, while defence minister Hans Hillen trails the list on 4.7.
