Minature city Madurodam closes for renovations

Madurodam, the minature city amusement park in The Hague, is closing its doors for five months for a major overhaul.

Some €8m is being pumped into new interactive attractions, digital information and a new playground.
The metamorphosis will ensure Madurodam remains popular for young and old for years to come, director Joris van Dijk told the Volkskrant. The attraction first opened in 1952.
