Dutch rapped over knuckles on illegals policy

The Netherlands must get its deportation policy on illegal immigrants in line with European law within two months or face a court appearance and financial sanctions, the European Commission said on Thursday.

The policy should have been changed by December 24 2010 and in not changing it, the Dutch government is undermining EU migration laws.
Seven other European member states have also been rapped over the knuckles on this subject.
Brussels wants the eight countries to fall in line with EU law which it says fully respects human rights and the fundamental freedom of the people concerned.
