Dutch hotels ‘most expensive’ in the eurozone
Hotels in the Netherlands are the most expensive in the 17-country eurozone, according to the latest hotel price index produced by website Hotel.com, news agency ANP reports.
The average price of a room in a Dutch hotel is €110 per night, the research shows. Amsterdam has the most expensive hotels in the Netherlands at between €116 and €124 per night. The Hague is in second place and Zandaam third.
In global terms, the Netherlands is in 13th place. Switzerland is top of the list.
