Telecoms company KPN is to dispense with the name Getronics on September 1, following full integration of the computer software company, KPN announced on Tuesday.

The activities of Getronics Nederland, which KPN took over in 2007, will fall under the name KPN Corporate Market. Getronics Consulting will become KPN Consulting and Getronics Training will be KPN Training.
Getronics will, however, retain its name for its activities abroad.
The move is part of a package of measures to defend KPN’s market share in the Netherlands and streamline its business portfolio.
