Hockey team through to semi-finals
The men’s hockey team secured a place in the semi-finals of the European championship on Monday evening with a 4-3 win over title defenders England.
The team had already beaten France 8-1 in the group play-offs in the German city of Munchengladbach.
On Wednesday the men will play Ireland in the last of the group matches. The result of this match will determine who Holland will play in the semi-final.
