Fishery projects get €6m subsidy

Projects that develop the fishery sector and make it more sustainable will receive a total €6m in subsidy, junior economic affairs minister Henk Bleker announced on Friday.

The 25 projects have been chosen from those sent to the ministry in March applying for a subsidy for innovative projects.
One of them aims to market plaice as a modern and sustainable product that is easy to prepare, says Trouw.
Of the €6m, 30% comes from the EU fishery fund.
