Broadcasting companies unite on arts coverage

Broadcasting companies AVRO, VPRO and NTR announced on Friday they will join forces to provide arts programmes.


In 2012 there will be cooperation on this ‘fragile’ area of broadcasting to counteract the effects of the savage cuts being brought in by the government, head of channel 2 Bart Römer told the Telegraaf.
But he does want future arts programmes to be more accessible to a wide Dutch public, says the paper.
