AEX recovers after heavy losses
The Amsterdam blue chip AEX index recovered on Tuesday afternoon after dropping by as much as 5.2% in morning trading.
By 15.30 hours, the AEX was down 0.8%, but the situation was still very volatile, traders said.
On Monday, the AEX closed down 4.4%.
