White collar union MHP backs pension deal
The board of white collar union MHP has decided to accept the recent pension reform package worked out by unions and employers, and expects its membership to vote in favour as well, news agency ANP reports on Thursday.
The union’s members will make their definitive standpoint known in September. The biggest MHP union – De Unie – opposes the deal.
The deal paves the way to put up the pension age to at least 66 and change the way corporate pensions are calculated.
