FC Twente beat Romanian club Vaslui 2-0 at home in the first leg of their Champions League qualifier on Tuesday night.


The match was the official debut for new trainer Co Adriaanse and took place in Arnhem’s Gelredome. Twente’s own stadium is out of use following the collapse of part of the tribune last month.
The return leg takes place in Romania next week.
