Staffing agency Randstad books double digit growth
Staffing agency Randstad booked double digit growth in the second quarter of this year – the fifth quarter in a row that turnover has gone up by more than 10%.
The world’s second biggest temporary employment group booked sales of nearly €4bn in the second quarter, 13% up on a year ago but slightly less than analysts had forecast.
In the Netherlands, turnover rose 7% to €727m, boosted by demand in the industrial and technology sectors.
However, government cuts led to a 17% decline in turnover from state and local authority contracts, Randstad said.
