Goran Hadzic in The Hague on Friday

Yugoslavian war crimes suspect Goran Hadzic will probably be flown to the Netherlands on Friday to face the UN tribunal in The Hague, his lawyer told the Serbian media on Thursday.

The arrest of Hadzic, the last remaining fugitive sought by the UN war crimes tribunal in The Hague, was confirmed on Wednesday.
Hadzic faces 14 counts of war crimes and crimes against humanity following his involvement in atrocities committed by Serb troops in Croatia. He was in charge of Croatian Serb separatist forces.
The arrest comes less than two months after Serbia caught former Bosnian Serb military commander Ratko Mladic. He is now on trial in the Netherlands.
