The equal opportunities commission will publish its findings on the controversial Utrecht marathon in October, the Telegraaf reports on Monday.

The marathon organisers caused a storm of protest abroad after they decided to award different amounts of prize money to Dutch and foreign runners.
Only Dutch runners were invited to take part in the event and only they were eligible for the €10,000 first prize. If a foreigner had won, he would only have been entitled to €100.
The marathon organisers said the aim was to encourage Dutch athletes to take part.
Utrecht city council and the marathon organisers asked the equal opportunities commission to give its view on whether or not the policy is discriminatory.
