Vattenfall sells Nuon’s gas fields

Swedish energy firm Vattenfall, owners of Dutch utility Nuon, announced on Tuesday it has agreed to sell Nuon’s interest in North Sea gas fields for €300m to British oil and gas producers Tullow Oil.


The sale includes a processing plant and a pipeline.
The deal is expected to be completed in July and to come into effect on January 1 2012, says Vattenfall.
