Terror suspect extradited to Belgium released without charge

One of three Amsterdam men extradited to Belgium last year for terrorist offences has been released without charge, local television station AT5 reports.

‘I have had to live through a nightmare on the basis of ridiculous claims which I have done nothing to deserve,’ Samir S told AT5.
The three Amsterdammers were originally arrested and charged with being part of a terrorist network which was planning an attack on unspecified targets in Belgium.
That charge was later dropped although the men were still under investigation for recruiting for jihad, or holy war, the paper said. The three went to eastern Turkey together in November 2010.
