Tax investigators recover €16m

The social affairs ministry investigators SIOD said in their annual report on Thursday they recovered €16m in 2010 from tax avoidance and social security and subsidies fraud.


SIOD says it reported 115 suspect individuals and companies to the public prosecution department last year. Among them was a group of nine market gardeners in North Brabant and Limburg suspected of money laundering.
