Powerful men, and women, most likely to be unfaithful

Men are no more likely to be unfaithful to their partners than women, but both sexes in positions of power have a greater tendancy to cheat, according to Tilburg University researchers.

In particular, the more powerful women become, the more likely they are to cheat on their partners, the NRC quotes the researchers as saying.
The research team analysed questionnaires filled in by 1,275 readers of young professionals’ magazine Intermediair.
Around 25% said they had cheated on their partner, but the result was the same for both men and women.
