Mladic loses extradition appeal

Former Bosnian Serb army chief Ratko Mladic lost his appeal against extradition on Tuesday when Serbia’s war crimes court ruled he should be transferred to the UN tribunal in The Hague to stand trial.

Mladic faces genocide charges over his part in the 1992-95 Bosnian war.
His lawyer appealed extradition on Monday on the grounds the former general was too ill to stand trial.
There is speculation Mladic could be flown to The Hague later on Tuesday, according to BBC news.
