Flood of complaints on first exam day
Over 5,000 complaints were received by the school pupils’ union LAKS on Monday, the first day of final exams, up from 2,000 on the first day in 2010.
Most of the complaints came from pre-university (vwo) students, and concerned the difficulty of the summary in the Dutch exam. Pre-college pupils (havo) complained most about the slowness of the computers in the art exam.
Over 205,000 final year pupils are taking school leaving exams over the next two weeks.
