China fines Unilever for hinting at price rises
Unilever has been fined by China for talking to Chinese media about possible price hikes which led to panic buying, international news agencies report.
The Anglo-Dutch company was fined 2 million yuan (€211,000) for ‘spreading information about price rises and disrupting market pricing order,’ China’s planning agency is reported to have said on Friday.
