Swimming teacher Benno L has had his jail sentence for sexually abusing dozens of young girls cut from seven to six years on appeal.

The public prosecution department had demanded a 10 year jail term.
The appeal court in Den Bosch said it had taken the massive publicity into account when determining the sentence, Nos television said.
