24-hour public transport strikes set for June
Public transport workers in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague will go on 24-hour strikes in June in protest at government plans to make the city councils put services out to tender.
Amsterdam will kick of with a 24 hour strike on June 7, followed by The Hague on June 8 and Rotterdam on June 9.
Public transport workers in the three cities have previously gone on shorter strikes as part of their protests.
