Zonderland makes history at European gymnastics event
Dutch gymnast Epke Zonderland took the European title on the high bar at the European championships in Berlin on Sunday.
The 24-year-old from Friesland had already been the surprise winner of the silver medal on the parallel bars earlier in the day.
It is the first time that a Dutch male gymnast has ever won two medals at the same international title event, the Telegraaf said.
