Record number plan to go on holiday over Easter
A record 1.2 million people plan to go away over the Easter weekend, with 700,000 people heading abroad, the Dutch tourist board said on Monday.
In turn, 950,000 foreign tourists are expected to visit the Netherlands, up 150,000 on a year ago.
The promising weather forecast and the fact Easter is late this year are the motors behind the increase, the board said.
