The economy of Noord-Holland province, which includes Amsterdam and Alkmaar, grew most last year, the national statistics office CBS said on Thursday.


There was also significant growth in Noord-Brabant. However, Utrecht and Friesland trailed the other 10 provinces, the CBS said.
The Dutch economy grew 1.8% last year, but in Noord-Holland the increase was over 2%.
