Foreign affairs minister Uri Rosenthal is travelling to Washington next Thursday for talks with his US government counterpart Hillary Clinton.
His spokesman told the Telegraaf the two will discuss the situation in Libya and the rest of the Arab world as well as events in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Rosenthal will also visit Dutch companies in Washington and underline the strong economic ties between the Netherlands and the US, the paper said.
