A fire warning has been issued for eastern parts of the country because of the continuing dry weather.
The code orange alarm means smoking, barbecues and other sorts of open fires are banned in nature reserves as are bonfires made up of garden waste.
The ban applies to Utrecht, Overijssel, Gelderland and northern parts of Limburg. No rain is forecast for the next few days at least.
