Exports and imports rise, trade surplus unchanged
Dutch export volumes rose 7% in February, compared with the year-earlier period, while imports were up 10%, the national statistics office CBS said on Monday.
The total value of exports rose 19% to €32.9bn, while imports were up 22% at €29bn, leaving the trade surplus unchanged at €3.9bn.
Raw materials and mineral oils accounted for the bulk of both imports and exports, the CBS said.
