Twente, PSV through to Europa League quarter finals

FC Twente and PSV Eindhoven both qualified for the quarter finals of football’s Europa League on Thursday night, but Amsterdam’s Ajax is out.

PSV managed to beat Glasgow Rangers 0-1 away – the only goal of the two match tie. For a match report and highlights, click here.
FC Twente, with a 3-0 home leg advantage, lost 2-0 to Russian champions Zenit St Petersburg but go through on aggregate. For a match report and highlights click here.
But Amsterdam’s Ajax, 0-1 down after the home leg against Spartak Moscow, could not come back against the Russian side and lost 3-0. For a match report and highlights, click here.
Twente and PSV join Dynamo Kiev, Benfica, Spartak Moscow, Porto, Villarreal and Braga in Friday’s draws for the quarter and semi-finals.
