Second salaries should go to charity: PVV politician

Politicians with two or more jobs should give part of their salary to charity, PVV provincial council candidate Laurence Stassen told the Volkskrant.

Stassen, who heads the candidate list for the PVV in Limburg and already works as a member of the European parliament, says she will give away the €1,000 a month she will earn if she is elected to the provincial council.
‘I hope my colleague politicians will follow my example,’ she told the paper.
At least eleven of the PVV candidates already have jobs in the national or European parliament.
