Philips’ pensions frozen next year

The pension fund of electronics giant Philips will not increase pay outs in line with inflation and average wage increases next year.


This means retired Philips’ workers will see their pensions frozen.
The fund said the decision had been taken because of increased life expectancy and to keep its financial reserves healthy.
