More teachers don’t have permanent contracts
The number of freelance teachers at Dutch schools has doubled to 25,000 over the past four years, according to the Nederlands Dagblad.
The paper says the increase is probably due to the recession which has made it more difficult for teachers to negotiate a permanent position.
