A majority of MPs wants finance minister Jan Kees de Jager to get much tougher on bankers’ bonuses, Nos television reports.

Left-wing parties and the anti-Islam PVV all want more action from the minister. The PVV wants a total ban on bonuses ‘as long as Henk and Ingrid have to tighten their belts’, Nos says.
MPs are due to debate the findings of the De Wit commission into the causes of the economic crisis later on Wednesday.
