Dutch sniffer dogs find bodies in Japan
Sniffer dogs from the charity organisation Signi have found 15 bodies during a week of intensive work in the Ofunato region of Japan, one of the areas badly hit by the earthquake and tsunami.
Janette Kruit told the Telegraaf that the team’s four German shepherds had also indicated dozens of other places in the rubble where bodies may be buried. The places have been marked for later examination.
The four dogs and their handlers are due to fly home on Sunday.
