Twente makes promising start in Europa League
FC Twente beat Russian side Rubin Kazan 2-0 away on Thursday afternoon, despite concerns about the sub-zero temperatures.
Uefa ordered the match to go ahead even though Twente and Russian weather bureaux put the temperature at -17 Celsius. Uefa officals said the temperature was -14 Celsius, one degree above the legal minimum for a match to go ahead.
