Thiemo de Bakker is the sole Dutch survivor at the ABN Amro World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam, after beating Philip Petazchner in three sets, 6-4, 0-6, 6-1.
Robin Haase, also in action on Tuesday, lost 3-6, 2-6 to the World number four Robin Söderling.
Four other Dutch players were eliminated on the first day of the tournament.
