Strukton takes on Ziggo Dome

Utrecht construction company Strukton has reached a deal with Black Box Real Estate to complete the building of the concert hall Ziggo Dome at the Amsterdam Arena, reports the Financieele Dagblad.

Work on the building came to a halt at the end of January when the original construction company Midreth went bankrupt. Midreth was also the contractor for the rebuilding work at the Stedelijk museum in the city centre.
The Ziggo Dome, which will hold 15,000 people and has a budget of €60m, will open at the end of March 2012.
