Limburg marjuana growers pay €4.5m to tax office

The tax office managed to claw back €4.5m from people convicted of growing marijuana in Limburg province last year, junior finance minister Frans Weekers told local broadcaster L1.


In total 80 growers were presented with back tax demands and fines. Weekers said hitting criminals in their wallets is the best way forward. He wants to extend the scheme nationwide.
