Four Dutch teams in next year’s Europa League
The Netherlands can send a fourth team to next year’s Europa League football competition following Ajax, PSV and Twente’s strong performances this year, Nos television reports.
The Netherlands has now risen above Turkey in the Uefa team rankings, leading to the extra place.
In terms of the Champions League, the Dutch position is unchanged. The premiere league winner qualifies automatically and the number two has to compete in qualification rounds.
