D-day for Organon workers moves to Wednesday

Workers at the former Organon pharmaceutical plant in Oss will probably hear their fate on Wednesday, not Tuesday as planned, the Financieele Dagblad reports.

Owner Merck wants to close down the R&D department and one production line, with the loss of over 2,000 jobs.
At least two possible new owners are rumoured to be waiting in the wings: Dutch biotech firm Pantarhei and Japanese pharmaceuticals firm Takeda.
