British energy firm Centrica said on Thursday it hoped to finalise the sale of its Dutch budget energy supplier Oxxio this year, the Financieele Dagblad reports.

Oxxio was put up for sale two years ago. Centrica bought the company in 2005 for €137m.
The only confirmed interested party is another budget firm, NL Energie, the paper said. But sources say the two sides are in dispute over the price.
