The Dutch budget deficit was 5.2% last year, not 5.8% as earlier estimated, the government said on Friday.

The state debt was also slightly lower than estiamted at 63% of gross domestic product, not 64%.
Ministers said after Friday’s cabinet meeting the revised figures did not have any consequences for government spending cuts.
