Pension fund APB back on track

Civil service pension fund APB, one of the biggest pension funds in the world, has boosted its coverage ratio to 105%, meeting central bank targets.

By mid 2010, the ratio – the amount of assets the fund needs to meet pension demand – had fallen to 95%.
The news means APB will not have to cut pension payouts.
