Labour councillors lean towards GroenLinks

Some two thirds of the Labour town and city councillors support researching a possible merger with the left-wing green party GroenLinks, according to research for radio show Dit is de Dag.


The show questioned 560 of the 1,373 Labour (PvdA) councillors nationwide.
The research followed a call by new GroenLinks leader Jolande Sap for Labour members to make up their minds whether they tend towards the GroenLinks/D66 tendency or the Socialist Party
