Eindhoven rated one of the ‘top seven’ intelligent communities
The Eindhoven region has been named one of the top seven ‘intelligent communities of the year’ by the global think tank Intelligent Community Forum.
Eindhoven and the other six were chosen from a list of 21 by a team of academics.
They describe the Eindhoven metropolitan area as ‘the industrial heart of the Netherlands’, pointing out it the number of business start-ups has grown 275% over 10 years and is among the top three regions in Europe for new patents.
