Seven Dutch pension funds to cut payouts next year

Seven Dutch pension funds are planning to lower payouts from January 1 because their reserves are still below the legal levels.

In total, 49,000 pensioners will be affected, the central bank said. Hardest hit will be dentists. Their pensions will go down 10%.
Originally, the central bank had put 14 pension funds on its warning list, but the others have taken steps to restore their reserves to the proper levels.
