Power failure halts Utrecht train services, disrupts others
A power failure led to all train services in and around Utrecht being cancelled on Friday morning. According to the Telegraaf, dozens of trains were stranded by the power cut.
Although the power cut is now over, services all over the country have been disrupted and passengers are being warned to allow extra time for their journeys.
Four weeks ago, another power failure at Utrecht paralysed trains services and led to a storm of criticism from rail users and MPs.
