The 50-year-old owner of a daycare centre on a farm near Emmeloord in Flevoland province has been arrested on child sexual abuse charges.

Two girls aged between four and 12 have complained of being sexually assaulted, Emmeloord’s mayor told a news conference on Tuesday evening.
The daycare centre offers pre school and after school care to a total of 26 children.
Meanwhile, RTL news reports 500 of Amsterdam’s police officers are involved in investigating the daycare child abuse case in the capital.
Three men have been arrested in connection with the abuse of 64 very young children at three daycare centres.
